A part of our healthcare package, Medical Coding is a result-oriented service for hospitals or institutions, where every service provided under medical care is identifiable by a single code. These codes, that are available for simple blood tests to complicated surgeries, ultimately help insurance providers to identify patients’ problems and judge the treatment required, and thereby calculate the amount to be paid for the treatment.

We receive transcribed reports or bills from the client, which are carefully read by our experienced coders. They then accurately identify the diagnosis, procedures and modifiers, and mark codes for each. After this, a post-coding review is also carried out to ensure accuracy of each code and document. With the latest Internet and document imaging technologies, we are able to deliver top-quality coding services at compelling rates.

Process

Hospitals scan and store medical records of each patient systematically. These documents are then routed to Digitec, via the internet; which are then channeled to our team of highly qualified coding specialists. We ensure that all our services comply with HIPAA standards.

Our coding team, as per the client’s requirements, can either enter codes directly into the client’s medical system or arrange for electronic interfaces to do so. Our system provides in-depth reporting, which enables clients to track job locations, quality and turnaround time.
