Digitec has developed efficient, process-oriented systems for medical transcription services, so as to manage the flow of work and provide reports regarding files dictated by the client, jobs completed, jobs pending, jobs uploaded, jobs allotted to each transcriptionist, etc.

Our well-organized process also includes daily productivity reports with accuracy averages of reports done per client, per transcriptionist, and so on. This enables us to efficiently track the skill-levels of each of our transcriptionists or coders as well as ensure a high level of accuracy with files being sent to each client. These production reports also monitor the overall production capacity of the company as a whole, and our ability to meet targets and fulfill client requests.

Digitec follows stringent technical security features to ensure that client and patient data and information is transferred and used with utmost security, ensuring client and patient privacy, and patient’s right to PHI (protected health information). This ultimately protects confidential data from external intruders or unauthorized personnel either through the internet itself or within the office premises. Digitec’s efficient security policies ensure only the right people have access to certain data, where access is granted based on their designation or work profile. All security procedures are HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act) compliant.

• Updated Antivirus: Regularly updated antivirus software protects data from virus attacks, spyware, and other malicious software.
• Security of FTP Sites: All FTP sites’ login, usernames and passwords, encryption and folder access are recorded duly to ensure only individuals authorized to access each FTP site are granted access and not otherwise.
